This game is set in Jan 1536, in an isolated Abbey near Kimbolton, England. Henry the Eighth’s first wife, Catherine of Aragon, has recently died. This should have been cause for celebration as no longer could Catholics look to her restoration to the throne. Although Henry’s marriage with his current wife, Anne, has been unproductive of an heir, she is once again pregnant and now, without Catherine in the way, is the only Queen of England. This is her last chance, as it seems forces are gathering to unseat her and place the next candidate in Henry’s way. Unfortunately, rumours have reached the Court that Catherine has risen from the dead (a saint say the Catholics) making her even more dangerous. Storm clouds of rebellion are centering on Kimbolton’s Abbey, and the King brings his court to investigate.
