Once a year, as the 8th month draws to a close, a large sect descends upon the plagued city, once illustrious and named for the most fleet footed of Goddesses. This sect’s meeting has been a blight for 34 years upon the citizens, leaving the town near in ruins as they revel and carouse, but this year, there are winds of change. A group of this cult realizes this occasion could mark and bring about change in the order- no longer would they be outsiders, but instead rulers of not only this town but the entire universe. Should they succeed it would bring about the end of everything you know to be dear. Delving into the dark underbelly of these days of festivities could be more than our friends can handle, but hey, there’s nothing like a little insanity to add fun to a party, right? Our players will be stuck in a quagmire of decisions and morality- and though there is hope, it may be overshadowed by Dread. Dread is a horror based rpg that uses pulls from a Jenga tower in place of an actual roll. Decisions and additional puzzles may offer other challenges to ease the way.
