Evil dude’s been holed up in the mountain hoarding a bunch of treasure and magic swag. Some suicidal jerks went in to face him and for once actually came out alive. The villain’s been defeated, there was a big explosion, and the sacred relic of some god was returned along with a few other things. What’s important is that now you have a chance. Those other guys cleared out the most powerful things when they made their way to the throne room, so all that’s left are the stragglers. Yeah, they took the best stuff on their way through, but this guy has been collecting things for generations. There should be plenty of loot left for enterprising individuals. And now’s the time to do it, before anyone else gets the same idea or the proper authorities mobilize the cleanup crews. Time is of the essence and everyone has something they desperately want to retrieve. This is a good old dungeon crawl. You’re just here to grab all the treasure you can and deal with whatever lingering dangers remain. Character Creation: Lvl 5 Standard point buy Anything from an official DnD book is fair game. I don’t care if they’re technically from different settings (ex:eberron) Since you’re starting at lvl 5 you will get 550gp on top of the normal starting gp to outfit your characters. I don’t need an extensive backstory, but I would like everyone to give a reason they’re after a specific item (which you will be assigned at the start). Your superior could be giving you the command, it could belong to your uncle who once tried to storm the fortress, some 3 rd party could be paying you a lot to retrieve this. You don’t have to have too deep a reason, but you do need to be motivated.
