The war is over, but you aren’t finished fighting. After the Civil Guard broke through your lines, it was every soldier for themselves. You have what’s left of your unit, a vehicle or two, and rations for a couple of weeks. All you need to do to get off-planet is get to the starport within three weeks, when the final armistice will be signed. No problem, right?
