Middle North America, 16th century – The world is ending. Or, if not, it’s doing a pretty good imitation. Crops have been failing, weather is changing, and new diseases ravage the people. There are even reports of strange beings visiting your land. To top it off, your depleted towns are now under attack by your enemies. Something has to be done or the people will surely fall. There are no safe choices, only risky and less risky. Some say you could defend your town if everyone rallies. Others say the only hope is for everyone to gather as much as they can carry and strike out west to an unknown but rumored-to-be-safer land. Your group needs to make a choice and lead the people to a better future.
