This is a Parsely game. A RPG game based on the old text adventure parsers. In this version, the computer is replaced by a person (the Parser) and the software is replaced by a map and an outline of the adventure to be played. The participants give (enter) the commands, one at a time (acting as the single Player) to the Parser.

Text adventure games were all the rage from the late 1970s and early 1980s, a time when games came on cassette tapes or floppy disks—games like “Zork”, “Wishbringer”, and “Colossal Cave Adventure”. But even if you didn’t grow up during that time, you can still enjoy a Parsely game.
