Damascus Station has a rough reputation. As the last stop for public transports in this quadrant, long-haul freighters, weary repair crews, and suspicious smugglers all seem to wind up here. Lately, though, the nearby planet of Alexandria has been attracting a new kind of traveler: pious pilgrims seeking spiritual and intellectual enlightenment. New travelers bring new problems, as pressures between the disparate groups.
