This game is set in the early colonial period of history when the Euopean nations were exploring and colonizing the Americas. You will use fast schooners to explore the lands that beckon from across the sea, merchant galleons to colonize and to transport the riches of your colonies back to Europe, and war galleons to protect your interests at sea. You will build lumber mills, mines, and trading posts to exploit the potential of your newly found territories. Busy commerce, burgeoning industry, and a strong navy will separate the “wannabees” from the mistress of the seas. All the games played on Saturday will introduce a fifth player – the pirates of the Barbary coast. They will be able to spread through the Atlantic. Happy sailing.
