Wardens of Sobol is an RPG which takes place in a post-post-apocalyptic world, with very fantastical elements. The deities of old have risen up and reclaimed control of the world, and given the Mortals a civilization based on community, respect for nature, and faith in the Pantheon. But the deity of destruction and chaos, Ia, threatens every aspect of this new utopia.
All players play Wardens, the protectors of this new civilization. With each devoted to a different member of the Pantheon, you all work together to protect the citizens of Minnescosigan, defend and uphold the worship of Sobol and their children, and bust up any cults you find. This is an original setting, and original rules using playing cards instead of dice. Many hunters and travelers have been disappearing when they leave the giant, Minnesconsigan. This is starting to concern the citizens, and they are scared to leave their homes. You Wardens have been called to investigate, hopefully nothing to horrific has happened to the missing persons… Warning: This adventure has scenes and dialogue that references and implies cannibalism.
