Listen. Integrate. Mutate. In this hands-on session you will use these three techniques to create a more engaging and spontaneous experience for your players. After a quick introduction to the core principles that make for dynamic, exciting sessions, participants will each design one encounter right at the table. We’ll then take turns alternately playing and DMing our way through the resulting adventure. At the end, you’ll get specific feedback to help you refine your game. Discover how preparation, purpose of scene, and improv come together to make your encounters pop. For moderately experienced DMs only please, solid familiarity with D&D 5E rules is required.
