Follow along as Magic Sword, Mike Adams and other artists from Indianapolis’ own Joyful Noise Recordings (JNR) adventure their way through a custom 5e campaign. The game is tailored to immerse the audience in a fantastical world inspired by the music from JNR’s catalog. Metavari will DM the event. The campaign is a homebrew cocktail of carefully built experiences that subtly (and not so subtly) reference the JNR lyrics, artwork and personalities. The live play’s score will utilize a unique soundboard for the event that the DM will use to launch sound effects, triumphant entries, battle music, and soundscapes. This event will carry its own light show and real-time projections of the players’ stats and maps. The audience will get a chance to catch and roll their own random encounters during the show using giant inflatable d20s.
