The Crow is a 1994 supernatural action film directed by Alex Proyas. Eric Draven, a musician, is murdered alongside his fiancée on Devil’s Night. A year later, he’s resurrected by a crow with supernatural powers to seek revenge against those who killed him and his fiancée. He systematically hunts down the gang responsible, forming a bond with a young girl who was friends with him and his fiancée. Along the way, he learns of a larger conspiracy involving corrupt politicians and police officers. In a final battle, Eric is able to defeat the villain and avenge his and his fiancée’s deaths before being reunited with her in death.
