For hundreds of years, a single citadel has held back the warriors of Chaos. In that time several small battles have been easily won by those on the side of Law and victory has led to pride. Your leaders have ignored the rumors of a large army forming under the leadership of a dark and powerful wizard. Now an army of 5000 orcs, goblins, trolls, and other creatures of chaos move toward Goblin’s Gate, the pass your order of 100 soldiers has been tasked with guarding. As the ranks form, your leader calls a small party into his room. “Below this citadel, in a dungeon, no man should ever be asked to enter, lies the Lode Stone. Retrieve it before the enemy breaches our walls and we may stand a chance.” This adventure will consist of a dungeon crawl and if the party retrieves the Lode Stone a massive battle using the Chainmail Combat rules.
