When Rechis returns home to Somnolence, the codex thrums to life after centuries of dormancy. In doing so it calls forth something – evil. The little village’s chance of survival are a group of adventurers’ that must stand in the way of an invasion of something that is beyond their comprehension. They are all that stands between the Aphotic and their ability to plunge the very nation into war.
