Come join me for the first of this year’s yarn dyeing classes! Learn skills that you can carry to your kitchen or to the classroom to hand-paint a skein of yarn in bright, fun colors! Let your imagination be your guide! We will be working with Kool-Aid drink mix powder packets to dye a skein of Bluefaced Leicester/Silk blend yarn (55% BFL/45% Silk, 438 yds.). Be sure to check out all of this year’s classes: Party Playdate, Arctic Lights, Caribbean Sunset, GenCon-trails, and Sunset Stripes! (All materials, supplies, and safety equipment will be provided by the instructor. Please note: We will be working with active dyes, so please do be mindful of your clothing. Dark-colored, cotton clothing is recommended. The instructor is not responsible for stains, you’ve been properly warned.)
