Weeks back, a blinding flash of red light came from up in the hills to the North. It was followed by what I can only describe as a wave of screams. Soon after, outcroppings of nettle-covered thickets appeared. Every night their numbers grow. What livestock remains rot in the fields, filled with grotesque tumors. Elder Baye, Healer Causey, and a band of sturdy townsfolk—including the Huchon brothers—headed into the hills days ago. They have not yet returned, and the strange undergrowth grows closer to the village every day. It looks like we have no alternative but to gather another group and head into the hills. This 0-level funnel is a wizard’s tower/dungeon crawl that leads from a mad mystic’s manor to the dark places below. Pregens will be provided.
