While enjoying a quiet Fall evening having a drink at The Hound, the lone tavern in Arwich Village, a mysterious very large man bursts into the place and then drops dead. He appears to be holding Bessie Curwen’s bonnet in his hands. The village owes a great debt to the Curwen family after they sent much needed supplies down during a famine several winters prior, and now it’s time to pay back that debt.
