In front of you is a shimmering quicksilver disc, hanging in mid-air and easily a full man-height in size if not larger. But your guide has gone missing, after disappearing through the disc to somewhere unknown. To reach your goal, you will need to enter the Nexus point and discover what has happened to them. This is an intermediate-level adventure for Empire of the Petal Throne, and the World of Tekumel, for characters of 3rd and 4th level. Inspired by Meso-American, Indian, and Arabic mythologies, Tekumel is a “sword-and-planet” setting, where powerful technology survives in a post-cataclysmic world. Humans co-exist with non-humans from many different star systems, all cut off from Tekumel in the far past. Now, magic and gods can affect the outcomes of any adventure, but the possibilities are truly unknown!
