It’s 2023. The first time you ever heard of Wonka Chocolates was on Tik Tok. You thought it was fake but then you found the candy on a shelf at All-Mart. You decided to give it a try and the chocolate was amazing! How did they make this stuff?
You googled Wonka and found out that the company was based in Nexterdam. Fake? Nope. Google showed it being this tiny country right next to Belgium. The only real story you could find was about this Golden Ticket contest from over 50 years ago where some kid named Charlie won the entire company. “I want a company!!!” was spinning around your head when a new video popped as if reading your mind. “Wonka present its brand new Golden Ticket Promo!!”

Everyone told you it was crazy trying to win. “It’s a fake internet meme!” friends laughed. “Companies aren’t just given away,” the adults explained. Should you be doubtful because your ticket read, “Chance to win!”? But you wanted it to be true kept buying those bars. You were realy thinking of giving up when it finally happened. You opened that chocolate bar and saw gold! You had won!

After that everything became a whirlwind. You were interviewed by countless people and your name seemed to be on everyone’s lips. The time to leave for Nexterdam seemed to arrive quickly. The flight was your real quiet in a while and you tried to think up a plan. But all those thoughts drifted away when you landed, and the smell of chocolate filled the plane. It was like heaven.

However, the fairy tale didn’t last long. The real Nexterdam didn’t look like those pretty pictures on Google or in the Wonka brochures. It was run down. You couldn’t find a single person wearing colorful outfits or funny hats. No one was smiling. Nexterdam was depressing.

The Factory loomed over everything It was ominously tall (maybe 5 stories?) and there were no windows except for the small dirty ones at the top.

There was a large crowd gathered outside the front gate. At first you expected another interview and photos, but then you noticed all the Nexterdam police. They seemed to be holding the crowd back. Was the crowd protesting something? They didn’t seem happy.

The signs seemed like nonsense (Hornsnozzlers!!). You couldn’t understand what they were screaming (Snozzwanger?). You felt lucky when the van got close to the gate, and you were quickly escorted into an entryway. All the other Golden Ticket Holders arrived (you knew them from soc media). It was time to plan. Winning meant you could fix the place up or maybe even sell it.

This scenario may contain too much sugar. Those who were mentally scarred after seeing or reading Willy Wonka should run away at full speed and not look back. While the scenario is written with children in mind, children should not play. If you are a child and are reading this, go to your room. While this is supposed to be rated G, we all know better and should be prepared for the worst.
