The Jerry Stefek Memorial Crawl for the Cure Gamehole 2023: Take Back Tegel Manor!

The Jerry Stefek Memorial Crawl for the Cure returns to Gamehole Con in 2023! Our sponsors have come up with something epic and unique for the Gamehole Community to collectively conquer! Frog God Games is providing Jerry’s Crawl a 16 x 16 foot battle mat-scale map of Tegel Manor for a Goodman Games Dungeon Crawl Classics mega-funnel of heroic proportions! The Rump legacy is seeping beyond the manor walls to Tegel Village trapping them within its evil embrace. The villagers will rise to purge the malevolence before the Rumps reclaim the village residents as their own undead servants! Saving the village or undead servitude to the vile Rumps are the only choices to be had; through clever plans and magic collected throughout the Manor, your peasants take on the overwhelming threat with hope for a new day! We will track the cleansing of the Rump scourge throughout the day and through your efforts we hope the Manor will be vanquished by the end of the event; only with your help can we bring this destiny!

Purchase a ticket for the event and join us whenever you have time, or make time on Saturday for this very special event for the cause! As always you will receive a memorial token at the event to present to play throughout the day! Multiple parties will work together and be sent on missions throughout the Tegel Manor to crumble the foundations of the Rump legacy: collect magic items, garner supernatural support and patronage, and gain ethereal blessings upon the campaign from your donations to the cause! All funds collected from the event in tickets and donations will be contributed to the benefit of the American Cancer Society (https://cancer.org). We were able to collect $1,800 last year to help the cancer victims and those affected; we look forward to using the Rump legacy to push beyond that awesome number! Help us to expand the Good we can generate for those in need by contributing to this every special event in the memory of our good friend Jerry Stefek!

Players will be provided with random 0-levels from our towers of fodder populated by the Purple Sorcerer Games (https://purplesorcerer.com/) party generator. There will be a LOT of character sheets on hand to bring the Rumps to their final reckoning! It will be an awesome event for Good to honor Jerry Stefek and his love of the hobby! On December 28, 2018, the gaming community incurred a major loss of a gaming friend in Jerry Stefek when he was lost to cancer. Jerry was an incredible father, friend, avid gamer, history buff and re-enactor. His love of these hobbies and friends was always evident in his words and actions. We would like celebrate Jerry and do Good works in his name, helping others in their time of need while going through this traumatic illness!
