To quote a BGG review of LLAMA Party Edition: “Reiner Knizia’s designs have many hallmarks, but one thing that can be said of him is that he is a master of iterative design.” To that end, let’s play his collection of LLAMA games which are easy to learn, fast-paced, & fun to play. In the first hour, we will start with the original L.L.A.M.A. card game which was nominated for the 2019 Spiel Des Jahres. For the second hour, we will switch to Don’t L.L.A.M.A. Dice which builds on the original ruleset by adding a dice mechanic and enhanced push your luck feature using a shared card pool. I will also have LLAMA Party Edition on hand if time permits for the table to go truly LLAMA crazy. Kick off the day with a light-hearted LLAMA filled morning.
