Wallenstein is an area-control game with economic elements, action programming and fast battle resolution using a cube tower. The game encourages holding different parts of the map and can discourage turtling up. Players can build and defend and/or steal improvements (points) from others. Players can act aggressively, but the game doesn’t necessarily reward that. The game is played over the course of 8 turns (spring, summer, fall, winter x 2years). At the end of those turns, the player with the most points wins.
